Scoped separately (we do offer these):
Most SMB users have 2–3 devices (laptop, phone, maybe a desktop). Per-user pricing keeps the math simple and means we don't penalize you for issuing a second monitor or upgrading a workstation. If you're server-heavy or device-light, ask about per-device pricing instead.
No long-term contract. Managed IT runs month-to-month with 30 days' notice to cancel. We'd rather earn your business every month than trap you. Project work is fixed-scope and one-time.
WMS implementations are typically 200+ hour engagements involving inventory data migration, scanner deployment, ERP/shipping integration, user training, and weeks of go-live support. Anyone offering you "WMS in a week for $5K" is either selling a starter kit or about to deliver something that won't survive contact with your warehouse.
Generally no — we prefer fixed-scope quotes because they remove the perverse incentive to take longer. For one-off tasks under 4 hours that don't fit a productized SKU, hourly is $175/hr with a 1-hour minimum.
For projects over $5,000, yes — typically 50% upfront, 50% on completion. Smaller productized SKUs are paid in full upfront. Managed IT bills monthly in advance.
